Ribo-clean rRNA Depletion Kit Mega (Prevalent Species)

Cat# Kit-041
Description This kit is developed for rRNA removal from total RNA of commonly studied species, including human, rat, mouse, and cynomolgus monkey. It is compatible with 0.01–1 μg of input total RNA.
Through probe hybridization, RNase H digestion, and DNase I treatment, rRNA species (5S, 5.8S, 18S, 28S, 12S, 16S, and 45S rRNA) are efficiently depleted, while mRNA and other non-coding RNAs are retained.
The kit supports both intact and partially degraded RNA samples, and the purified RNA is suitable for mRNA and non-coding RNA (e.g., lncRNA) analysis. Optimized reaction conditions improve depletion efficiency and species coverage.
Applications rRNA depletion from total RNA of high-frequency species (human, rat, mouse, cynomolgus monkey); mRNA and non-coding RNA analysis.
Product Overview Broader species coverage: Compatible with rRNA depletion from high-frequency species (human, rat, mouse, cynomolgus monkey).
Minimal residual rRNA: Residual rRNA content <1%.
Short processing time: Complete workflow can be finished within 1 hour.
