| Description | This rRNA depletion kit (reptiles/mammals) is intended for rRNA removal from total RNA of reptiles (e.g., lizards, snakes) and mammals (e.g., pig, cattle, sheep). It supports 0.01–1 μg of input total RNA. After probe hybridization, RNase H digestion, and DNase I treatment, rRNA species (5S, 5.8S, 18S, 28S, 12S, and 16S rRNA) are removed, preserving mRNA and other non-coding RNAs. Both intact and partially degraded RNA samples are compatible, and the resulting RNA is suitable for mRNA and non-coding RNA (e.g., lncRNA) analysis. An optimized reaction system enhances depletion efficiency and species compatibility. |
