| Description | This kit is suitable for rRNA removal from total RNA of human, mouse, and rat samples. It depletes cytoplasmic rRNA (28S, 18S, 5.8S, and 5S rRNA) as well as mitochondrial rRNA (16S and 12S rRNA), while retaining mRNA and other non-coding RNAs. The kit supports both intact and partially degraded RNA samples, including FFPE-derived RNA. The resulting rRNA-depleted RNA is suitable for mRNA and non-coding RNA (e.g., lncRNA) analysis. |
