| Description | This rRNA depletion kit (poultry/birds) is designed for rRNA removal from total RNA of poultry and avian species, including chicken, duck, cuckoo, parrot, and eagle. It is compatible with 0.01–1 μg of input total RNA. Through probe hybridization, RNase H digestion, and DNase I treatment, rRNA species (5S, 5.8S, 18S, 28S, 12S, and 16S rRNA) are efficiently depleted, while mRNA and other non-coding RNAs are retained. The kit supports both intact and partially degraded RNA samples. The resulting RNA is suitable for mRNA and non-coding RNA (e.g., lncRNA) analysis. The optimized chemistry improves depletion efficiency and cross-species compatibility. |
