| Description | This mixed-version kit is designed for rRNA removal from total RNA of a wide range of animal species, including model organisms, mammals, reptiles, birds, and aquatic animals. It supports 0.01–1 μg of input total RNA. Following probe hybridization, RNase H digestion, and DNase I treatment, rRNA species (including 45S [model organisms only], 5S, 5.8S, 18S, 28S, 12S, and 16S rRNA) are removed, preserving mRNA and other non-coding RNAs for downstream analysis. The optimized chemistry enhances depletion efficiency and cross-species compatibility. |
