Cas9 Nuclease from Streptococcus pyogenes, GFP tag

Cat# CAS-0904
Source Recombinant
Description Cas9 Nucleax (SpCas9), derived from the Spogems strain, is an sgRNA-guided DNA endonuclease that cleaves double-stranded DNA. In the presence of PAM (proto-poceradjccntmotD) in the target DNA, Cas9 Nucleax can specifically cleave the target double-stranded DNA under gRNA guidance, causing DNA double-strand breaks and blunt ends. The PAM sequence is essential for Cas9 to recognize and cleave the target DNA; its cleavage site is located within the target sequence (tutucnc), three units away from the PAM region. After transfection into cells, Cas9 GP can be observed under a microscope to determine whether SpCas9 has entered the cell nucleus and completed gene editing. It can also be applied to in vitro experiments such as target DNA cleavage and cloning of target fragments.
Storage Shelf life is 1 year. Storage conditions: -80°C. To avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, after opening, please store the Cas enzyme at -20°C. It is recommended to aliquot according to the number of uses to avoid repeated temperature changes that may reduce enzyme activity.
