The ENZD-RT21 one-step RT-PCR system from Creative Enzymes was evaluated for amplification sensitivity and fragment length performance using both cellular and viral RNA templates.
Using HeLa total RNA as template, a 555 bp GAPDH fragment was successfully amplified with a detection sensitivity down to 0.1 pg. In a viral system, PRRSV RNA enabled reliable amplification of a 660 bp target with a detection limit of 0.2 TCID50, demonstrating strong sensitivity across different biological backgrounds. Furthermore, when high-input HeLa RNA (1 μg) was used, the system was able to amplify long fragments up to 12.1 kb (UTRN), indicating robust performance in long-amplicon RT-PCR applications.
These results highlight stable reverse transcription and amplification efficiency across both short and long targets, supported by consistent enzyme performance in complex RNA templates. Data sourced from internal validation studies evaluating RT-PCR sensitivity and long-fragment amplification capability.
