Mannosyl-Oligosaccharide 1, 2-Alpha-Mannosidase IA (MAN1A1)

Cat# DIA-767
Descriptions Mannosyl-oligosaccharide 1, 2-Alpha-mannosidase IA (MAN1A1) is an endoplasmic reticulum-resident glycosidase that trims α-1,2-linked mannose residues from high-mannose N-glycans, and acts as a key processing enzyme in the early N-glycosylation maturation pathway.
Applications Mannosyl-oligosaccharide 1, 2-Alpha-mannosidase IA (MAN1A1) is used for N-glycan processing detection kits and glycosylation maturation pathway assay reagent development.
CAS No. 32-1-11357
Enzyme Commission Number EC 3.2.1.113
Enzyme Source Chinese Hamster Ovary cell line, CHO-derived human MAN1A1 protein.
Reaction Involved in the maturation of Asn-linked oligosaccharides. Progressively trim alpha-1, 2-linked mannose residues from Man9GlcNAc2 to produce Man5GlcNAc2.
Activity Definition Measured by its ability to remove alpha -mannose from the high mannose glycan Man-9 under the described conditions.
