Recombinant Homocysteine Methyl Transferase (HMT)

Cat# BDE-047
Description Homocysteine (Hcy) is a sulfur-containing amino acid and an established independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease. The enzymatic cycling method for Hcy detection is rapid, sensitive, and compatible with automated biochemical analyzers; homocysteine methyltransferase (HMT) is one of its core enzymes.
Applications Used in homocysteine assay kits, participating in the enzymatic coupling reaction of the methionine cycle.
