RNase Inhibitor, Mammalian (200,000 U/mL)

Cat# DIA-477
Description A 50 kDa protein that binds RNase A, B, and C at a 1:1 ratio, effectively inhibiting their activity with a binding constant >1014. Does not inhibit RNase 1, T1, S1, RNase H, or fungal RNases. Compatible with polymerases such as Taq, AMV, M-MuLV, and phage RNA polymerases (SP6, T7, T3).
A high-concentration format suitable for lyophilization. Can be diluted with glycerol-free buffer for use in freeze-dried reactions.
Applications RNA extraction and purification: protects RNA from degradation and improves yield; reverse transcription: enhances stability and efficiency of cDNA synthesis; qPCR and RT-PCR: preserves RNA integrity for reliable results; in vitro transcription: prevents RNA degradation and ensures high-quality RNA; single-nucleus isolation: protects nuclear RNA and improves data quality.
