| Description |
Alkaline phosphatase is a class of non-specific hydrolases exhibiting high catalytic activity under alkaline conditions, capable of hydrolyzing nearly all phosphomonoesters to yield orthophosphate and corresponding alcohols, phenols, and sugars. Bovine intestinal alkaline phosphatase is a homodimer characterized by high enzymatic activity and excellent thermal stability. |
| Applications |
As a labeling enzyme for conjugates of antibodies, antigens, etc., used in highly sensitive immunoassay reagents for colorimetric, fluorescent, luminescent detection, and immunohistochemistry. Recommended for conjugation via amino groups. |
