Description The catalytic domain of human INSR was produced as an N-terminal DYKDDDDK-tagged, biotinylated protein 39 kDa using a baculovirus expression system. After purification with DYKDDDDK tag antibody agarose and activation with ATP, the activated protein was isolated by gel filtration.
Applications For use as a positive control in INSR detection assays for diabetes and metabolic disease research.
