Description Derived from Geobacillus stearothermophilus DNA Polymerase I (large fragment) without 5′→3′ exonuclease activity. Exhibits 5′→3′ polymerase and strand displacement activity. Outperforms wild-type in amplification speed, thermal stability, and inhibitor resistance, ideal for contamination-resistant isothermal amplification such as LAMP.
Applications Isothermal amplification reactions such as LAMP.
