| Cat# |
POL-017 |
| Notes |
To avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, nuclease-free pipette tips and centrifuge tubes must be used during the experiment. |
| Source |
Recombinant E. coli strain containing the 9°N-7 gene of Thermococcus. |
| Storage |
Store at -25 ~ -15°C for 2 years. |
| Activity |
1 U/μL |
| Features |
An engineered 9°Nm DNA polymerase with no 5′→3′ or 3′→5′ exonuclease activity; It has a stronger ability to incorporate modified substrates (such as ddNTPs, rNTPs, and acyNTPs) compared to the natural enzyme; It can be used for partial ribonucleic acid replacement sequencing of DNA sequences and chain termination sequencing/SNP analysis of ddNTPs or acyNTPs. |
| Description |
Therminator DNA Polymerase is an engineered 9°N mDNA polymerase. Compared to the natural enzyme, it exhibits a stronger ability to incorporate modified substrates (such as ddNTPs, rNTPs, and acyNTPs), lacks 5′→3′ or 3′→5′ exonuclease activity, and is not heat-inactivated. |
| Applications |
This enzyme is used for partial ribonucleic acid replacement sequencing of DNA sequences and chain termination sequencing/SNP analysis of ddNTPs or acyNTPs. |
| Specification |
200 U; 1000 U |
