| Description |
The cytosine base editor (CBE) is a fusion of a Cas9 nickase, a deaminase, and a UGI.Deaminates C to U at the target position (window 3-12) without DSB. Creatively cages the deaminase, Active only upon sgRNA binding to the target, significantly reducing random binding, achieving near-zero off-target effects. Validated in primary NK and T cells. Ensures editing safety. |
