| Description | This kit is designed for efficient removal of rRNA from human total RNA, including cytoplasmic 28S, 18S, 5.8S, and 5S rRNA as well as mitochondrial 16S and 12S rRNA, while retaining mRNA and other non-coding RNAs. It is compatible with both intact and partially degraded RNA samples, such as FFPE-derived RNA, and the resulting RNA is suitable for downstream mRNA and non-coding RNA (e.g., lncRNA) analyses. The streamlined workflow enables rapid and convenient rRNA depletion and is particularly applicable to pathogen detection workflows, where it can significantly improve pathogen detection sensitivity. |
