Descriptions Pectinase is a composite enzyme system that degrades pectin polysaccharides in plant cell walls via synergistic action of polygalacturonase, pectin lyase and pectinesterase, and is extensively used in juice clarification, textile retting and feed nutrient improvement.
Applications Pectinase is applied in pectin content detection kit development and plant sample pretreatment reagent preparation for carbohydrate assays.
