| Cat# |
DIA-826 |
| Descriptions |
Recombinant Enterokinase recognizes the canonical DDDDK recognition sequence with high specificity, cleaves fusion tags without introducing extra amino acid residues, and is the standard tool for recombinant protein purification and processing. |
| Applications |
Recombinant Enterokinase serves as a core reagent for fusion tag removal detection kits and recombinant protein quality control assay reagent development. |
| Features |
1. Animal origin free: recombinant trypsin is no exogenous virus contamination, and any animal origin material is not used in the production process. 2. Stable quality: Mass production can ensure stable and continuous batch production. It is no difference between the batch and the product quality is stable. 3. High purity: Higher specific activity. Host protein residues is less than the limits of biological products. 4. Lyophilized powder: The product is lyophilized powder and is easy to store and transport. |

| Activity Definition |
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme needed to cleave 0.5mg of fusion protein in 12 to16 hours to get 95% completion at 25°C in 25mMTris-HCl | pH 8.0. Substrate: a special fusion protein. |
| Storage |
Recombinant enterokinase should be stored under -20°C in sealed container. It is stable within 24 months. If stored at 25°C. It is stable within one week. It is no activity loss after 5 times repeated freezing and thawing. The product is stable by blue ice insulation transport. |
| Usage & Dosage |
Recommended usage: 1.Standard cleavage: 25 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, fusion protein 0.1-1 mg/mL, EK 0.1-0.2 U, 25°C, 16-24 h. 2. Low-temp cleavage: 4°C for 16-24 h. 3. Optimization: adjust EK amount 0.01-0.2 U. 4. Removal: immobilized EK or Ni2+ resin if His-tag present. |
