T4 Gene 32 Protein (10 mg/mL)

Cat# DIA-475
Description Also known as T4 gp32 protein, this is a single-strand DNA-binding protein encoded by bacteriophage T4 Gene 32. Essential for DNA replication and recombination in T4-infected E. coli, it prevents complementary strands from reannealing, maintains single-stranded regions, avoids secondary structures, and protects ssDNA from nuclease degradation.
Synonyms T4 gp32 protein
Applications CR optimization; stimulation of in vitro DNA synthesis; stabilization of single-stranded regions of DNA or RNA; site-directed mutagenesis (with T4 DNA polymerase and T4 DNA 18); improved restriction enzyme digestion; qPCR; Recombinase Polymerase Amplification (RPA).
Package 100/500 μg
