| Cat# |
BDE-004 |
| Description |
In the detection of non-esterified fatty acid (NEFA), the second enzymatic step employs acyl-CoA oxidase (ACO), which oxidizes acyl-CoA to 2,3-Trans-acyl-CoA and hydrogen peroxide. The latter is quantified by peroxidase and is used to measure non-esterified fatty acids. |
| Applications |
Oxidizes acyl-CoA to produce hydrogen peroxide, used for the quantitative analysis of indicators related to fatty acid metabolism. |
